6 Workers Hurt, 4 Seriously, In Partial Collapse In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Six workers were hurt, four seriously, when the roof they were working on partially collapsed in Brooklyn, authorities said.

The workers were putting up cinderblocks on the roof when it collapsed to the basement, the NYPD said.

It happened at 9:47 a.m. at Park Place between Troy and Schenectady Avenues in Crown Heights.

The Department of Buildings has responded to the scene.
