N.J. Woman Accused Of Scamming Giants, Jets Fans Appears In Court

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A New Jersey woman accused of targeting Giants and Jets fans in a ticket scam appeared in court Friday.

Alicia Pallozzi was charged with theft by deception.

She is accused of advertising luxury box seats for games at Met Life Stadium.

Police said more than a dozen victims who responded to her ads on social media met her and handed over thousands in cash, but never received their tickets.

The judge released Pallozzi on her own recognizance, trusting her to return to court on November 28.
