UNION CITY, N.J. (CBSNewYork) – CBS2's Jenna DeAngelis had a surprise guest crash her live shot early Tuesday morning.

She was reporting on the Thanksgiving travel rush on an overpass in New Jersey when an opossum darted across the fence behind her.

CBS2's Chris Wragge and Mary Calvi joked the animal was just getting a jump on the holiday getaway.
