Woman Bound, Robbed, Sexually Assaulted In Bronx Home Invasion

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police were searching for two suspects late Monday in a violent home invasion and sexual assault in the Bronx.

Police said two men, posing as Con Edison workers, pushed their way into a woman's apartment on Mangenta Street in the Olinville section of the Bronx.

The suspects bound and tied the woman while they ransacked the apartment, and one of them sexually assaulted the woman, police said.

The suspects ok off with $50, police said.

Police said the neighbors heard the woman's toddler crying and found her that way.

It was not clear late Monday whether the woman was targeted.
