Odell Beckham Jr. Sets World Record For 1-Handed Catches
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Leave it up to Odell Beckham Jr. to steal the show during Super Bowl week.
He set a Guinness World Record on Thursday for the most one-handed catches in 60 seconds. New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees also received a Guinness plaque for throwing the passes to the Giants' electric rookie receiver.

Beckham and Brees completed the task on ESPN's set at the site of Super Bowl XLIX in Arizona.
"The type of person I am, I love breaking records, no matter what it is," Beckham said. "I look forward to breaking and going above and beyond what somebody else has done."
Congrats to my boys @OBJ_3 & @drewbrees on the new record & for repping the @Visa family. Im coming for that record though. #CheckoutODBrees

The category was new to Guinness, according to ESPN, and the pair shattered the 10 one-handed completions necessary to make it count. They had 33.
They could have had more, but Brees' stockpile of footballs was running low, forcing Beckham to toss them back.
"He's a special talent," Brees said of Beckham, whose one-handed touchdown grab against the Cowboys was considered one of the best catches ever. "To be able to do it with him is really cool."
