10/4 CBS2 Sunday Evening Weather Headlines

What a turnaround we had today! After a few days of gray and plenty of rain in between, skies cleared out earlier and we'll have a nice, cool, quiet night ahead. Just a bit breezy as high pressure battles an offshore frontal system. Expect an overnight low of 50 in NYC, and 40s elsewhere ... so you'll definitely want to dress warmly heading to work or school!
Expect more sunshine on Monday with temps in the mid 60s -- a few below normal, but still very nice! Only caveat is that it'll still be breezy as Hurricane Joaquin passes to our east. Our beaches will have some good waves despite the storm being so far away.
The weather picture looks great for the rest of the week ahead -- plenty of sunshine with upper 60s and low 70s. Have a great night!
