Oceanport, N.J. Main Break Sends Water Gushing Into Air

OCEANPORT, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Water gushed into the air like a geyser in Oceanport, New Jersey when a water main broke on Tuesday afternoon.

The main rupture happened at Port Au Peck and Oceanport avenues in the Monmouth County community.

The gush was so strong that it shot up more than double the height of a traffic light.

No residents lost water as a result of the incident.

Repairs were under way late Tuesday.
