NYPD: Vandals Spray Paint Anti-Semitic Graffiti In Brooklyn
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for a group of men who they said spray painted anti-Semitic graffiti on a property in Brooklyn.
The incident, which occurred around 12:30 a.m. Saturday on Exeter Street, has left many residents in the area rattled.
"This is very disturbing, especially to the Holocaust survivors," said Council Member Chaim M. Deutsch. "My parents were Holocaust survivors. My father survived three concentration camps, so I take this very personal."
The NYPD released surveillance video of the four suspects walking in the area.
One of the suspects appears to be using an aerosol can and lighter to spray flames near a car and tree.
The NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating, CBS 2 reported.
