NYPD: SUV Hits Toddler, 70-Year-Old Woman At Brooklyn Bus Stop; Driver Sought

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for a driver who they said took off after striking a child and an elderly woman at a bus stop in Brooklyn earlier this month.

The incident happened on the corner of Nostrand Avenue and Kings Highway on Sept. 17.

The driver is said to have run a red light before hitting the 2-year-old boy and 70-year-old woman at a bus stop, CBS 2 reported.

Police released surveillance video of the blue Inifiti SUV speeding away from the scene.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit tips to the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
