NYPD Releases Surveillance Video Of Bronx Subway Station Stabbing Suspect

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Police have released new surveillance video in the search for a suspected wanted in connection with a stabbing in the Bronx in October.

Police say the suspect and an 18-year-old victim got into an altercation on the southbound 6 subway platform at the Elder Avenue subway station on October 23. The suspect then stabbed the victim in the torso several times and fled the scene.

The victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital and is in stable condition.

Anyone with information was asked to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS, log onto the Crime Stoppers website, or text tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and enter TIP577.
