NYPD: Model Ataui-Deng Hopkins Found 12 Days After Vanishing
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - A model has been found, 12 days after she was last seen leaving a Hell's Kitchen nightclub.
Ataui-Deng Hopkins, 22, was found Monday night at an area hospital, police said.
She had last been seen at around midnight on Aug. 6 leaving XVI Lounge at 48th Street and Eighth Avenue, police said.
Hopkins lives on the Lower East Side and is originally from Sudan.
In a video interview with Vogue Italia, Deng said she was discovered in Dallas after attending a model expo. She later modeled for Christian Dior in Paris.
Police did not immediately offer further details of how Hopkins was found.
