NYPD: Man Steals Macbook Air, iPad From Williamsburg Library

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police have released surveillance video in hopes of finding a man they said swiped Apple devices from a Brooklyn library.

The incident occurred last month at the Williamsburg Branch on Division Avenue.

The suspect went to the second floor, took a MacBook Air laptop and an iPad that were on a table and took off, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit tips to the Crime Stoppers website or text tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
