NYPD: 25-Year-Old Man Dies After Being Shot In Neck In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A 25-year-old man has died after a shooting in Brooklyn.

Police responded to 148 Lefferts Place shortly before 1 a.m. Sunday. They found the man with a gunshot wound to his neck. He was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he died. His identification hadn't been released pending family notification.

NYPD sources told CBS2 they do not know if this is a random shooting or if the victim and the suspect knew each other.

An investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made.
