NYPD Make Arrest In 1993 Killing Of Bronx Woman

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- The NYPD says it has made an arrest in a decades-old cold case killing.

Jonathan Jolivert, 46, has been charged with murder in connection with the death of 21-year-old Michelle Page, police said.

Page was found dead in her apartment in the Bronx on March 24, 1993, police said.

She had a scarf wrapped around her neck and had been stabbed, police said. She was discovered in a hallway leading to the bathroom.

Jolivert was arrested after detectives resubmitted his DNA for testing, police said. He and the victim had a child together.

He was arrested in Carmel, New York in Putnam County and is being held. It's not clear if he has an attorney.
