NYPD Hunts Suspect In Rape Of 7-Year-Old Girl

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - The NYPD is asking for your help to catch an alleged child rapist.

Virgilio Ocampo raped a 7-year-old girl in the Soundview section of the Bronx on Dec. 19, police said.

Ocampo is 33, 5'7", 180 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

Anyone with any information about the incident or Ocampo's whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). Tips can also be submitted via the Crime Stoppers website, or you can also text your tip to CRIMES (274637) and then entering TIP577.
