New York Institute Of Technology Professor Accused Of Putting Camera In Bathroom

OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A New York Institute of Technology professor was facing charges Friday, accused of putting a camera inside a restroom on campus.

The school confirmed to CBS2 on Friday that Jackie Conrad, 39, is no longer an employee at the Old Westbury campus.

An investigation was launched after someone found a pen camera with recording capabilities inside a third-floor bathroom.

The source said all buildings have been inspected and no other devices were found.

"As always, we are committed to ensuring the safety and security of all students, faculty, and staff," New York Institute of Technology director of media relations Libby Sullivan said in a statement.
