Have A Movie Night At The Bar

Are you over 21? Do you like Harry Potter? Then you have to spend this Monday at Huckleberry Bar on Grand Street in Williamsburg. Every Monday, Huckleberry is host to drink specials and a movie. This week's flick is none other than Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows (Part One), complete with $8 butterbeers. Sign up for the official Movie Membership club and you can also enjoy two-for-one drinks and fresh popcorn. The movie starts right at 9:00 p.m. and is totally free for all patrons to enjoy.

Get a dose of classic Broadway theater in Chicago- The Musical at Ambassador Theatre on West 49th Street this Tuesday. Chicago is set in the mid 1920s and tells the story of Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly, two women in jail for murdering their male lovers. Roxie and Velma fluctuate between friendship and competition as each tries to become a bigger media darling in the hopes of beating their murder charges while paving the way for a career in show business. Musical numbers include pop-culture sensations like "Cell Block Tango" and "All That Jazz." Chicago's debut performance was in 1975 and the play has stood the test of time, still delighting audiences to this day. Tickets start at $104 a piece and the show begins at 8:00 p.m.

Listen To The Piano Man At MSG

Date: Wednesday, September 17

New York's very own, Billy Joel, is performing at the World's Most Famous Arena on September 17th. Joel is the third best selling solo artist in U.S. history, with a collection of hits that spans nearly five decades. The five-time Grammy award winning singer also holds the distinction of being the only performing artist to play both Yankee Stadium and Shea Stadium. Expect all the greatest songs from The Piano Man's legendary career such as, "New York State of Mind," "Just The Way You Are" and "Scenes From An Italian Restaurant" with a few surprises mixed in throughout. The concert starts at 8:00 p.m. and tickets are available online for $137 and up.

Talk (And Drink) Like A Pirate

Date: Friday, September 19

Argh! At long last it be talk like a pirate day, matey. For those of you who are not fluent in pirate, September 19th is National Talk Like A Pirate Day! To make the most out of this most swashbuckling of holidays, grab your eye patch and sail down to Wicked Willy's on Bleeker Street. Willy's is a pirate paradise 365 days a year and with a tag line like "time flies when you're having rum," you're sure to have a rocking good time. All the standard bar food is on the menu plus Wicked Willy's own signature line of burgers. Named after the scourge of the seven seas, the crowd favorite Black Beard Burger is served with ground beef, melted cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, red onion, tomato, lettuce, and garlic aioli on a chorizo patty. Happy hour lasts from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and is immediately followed by a live music performance.

Snatch A Bargain in Williamsburg

Date: Sunday, September 21

Close out the week with a day of bargain hunting. The Brooklyn Flea Market is currently open for the season and features over 140 vendors with a wide variety of foods and goods. Within the market you will find a plethora of vintage, antique and handmade items to decorate your living room or stuff your closet with. The Brooklyn Flea is located at 50 Kent Avenue this weekend and is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
