NYCHA Supervisor Claims He Was Target Of Anti-Semitic Slurs, Threats
NEW YORK (AP) -- A New York City Housing Authority supervisor says in a federal lawsuit that he was subjected to anti-Semitic slurs and threats.
According to the New York Post, 60-year-old Mitchell Imberman says the trouble began at the Bushwick Houses in 2009.
Imberman says one worker was fired after leaving threatening messages on his cellphone.
He says another refused to take orders from him because he is Jewish.
The Brooklyn lawsuit also says his tools were stolen, swastikas were scrawled on walls and he found feces on his chair.
Imberman says he turned to his bosses for help but they joined in the alleged mistreatment.
The Housing Authority declined comment.
