10/16 CBS2 Sunday Afternoon Weather Headlines

Another nice one today to finish out the weekend, and even a little milder than yesterday! Temps will top out in the upper 60s and low 70s around the region with plenty of sunshine. We'll see some more clouds start to stream in late, but any showers will hold off until the overnight hours.

Temps tonight only drop into the 50s and 60s compared to the 30 degree readings we had this weekend. There may be a passing shower, especially for folks to the north, but the approaching front is pretty moisture starved and its not looking impressive at all. In fact, most will probably not see anything other than clouds.

We bump the temps up again tomorrow, into the upper 70s in the city. Partly to mostly cloudy skies will prevail with an isolated sprinkle, mainly during the morning commute. It looks like Tuesday and Wednesday will bring some record warmth to the Tri-State with highs in the low 80s! We're going for a high of 82 in Central Park on Tuesday, which would tie the daily record. A real summer feel out there for mid October!
