Man Who Traveled To United States To Run In NYC Marathon Found, British Police Say

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Police in Sussex, England, say a man who traveled to the U.S. to run in the New York City Marathon has been found.

Authorities said Friday that they were "very concerned" about Christopher Ruane.

He was supposed to fly back home from New York on Nov. 4, but his family said he missed his flight and hadn't been heard from since.

Sussex Police said Saturday morning that Ruane had been found safe and was in touch with the NYPD.
