So, not sure if you all have realized this yet, but February is basically the party month of winter. I mean seriously! You kick off the month with some great football (get it, kick off…), then, in the middle of the month you get to celebrate Hallmark's favorite holiday: Singles Awareness Day… or Valentine's Day as some like to call it. And quickly there after you get almost an entire week filled with sweet celebrations: President's Day, followed by Mardi Gras, then Ash Wednesday and who can forget the Chinese New Year.

Since you obvi can't take the entire month of February off (unless you're Tom Brady) we've discovered a stellar new way to celebrate. And it starts with prepping your liver. Then grabbing das boot and your tickets to one or all of NYC's Beer week's festivities!

Kicking off the party on Feb. 20th you can try 100 rare brews, including Gun Hill's barrel-aged Void of light and KelSo's dry-hopped Industrial IPA, for one night only at bars and restaurants around the city. Or, if it's a competition you're craving it's Ruppert's Cup you'll want to get involved with. In this "people's choice" competition you get to choose the winner. And with 17 events around the city where brewers will contend for your vote with introductions to limited-edition brews, it's going to be quite the competition.

You may want to take it easy on Friday though, because you'll definitely need to be ready for Saturday's festivities. At the Opening Day Bash you'll sample unlimited brewskies from 40 breweries across NY State and meet master brewers behind these crafts. Then, at Tuesday's Brewer's Choice party you can try the crafts as they were meant to be consumed… paired with local chefs' creations.

To top off the week's events, the Closing Party Brunch will feature live tunes, breakfast bites and of course, more amazing brews.

Now that's how you do a party month.
