New York State Ethics Committee To Investigate Approval Of Cuomo's $5.1 Million Book Deal

ALBANY, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Former Gov. Andrew Cuomo's book about leadership in the pandemic continues to be the subject of investigation.

On Tuesday, the New York State Ethics Panel voted to open an internal investigation into how the panel approved the $5.1 million book deal.

The panels says it will hire an independent law firm to conduct the probe.

New York State Attorney General Letitia James is also investigation whether Cuomo improperly used state resources to write the book.
