NJ Bank 'RoBBER' Steals Cash From Norwood Chase

NORWOOD, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- New Jersey police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a bank in Norwood earlier this week.

According to the Norwood Police Department, the man robbed a Chase Bank on Broadway and Livingston Street on Monday afternoon.

Photos posted on the police department's Facebook page shows the suspect, clad in a black baseball cap and plaid, holding up a piece of paper with the word "RoBBER," scrawled on it.

It was not immediately clear how much money the suspect got away with.

Police describe the suspect at 6ft. tall and weighing between 225 to 250 pounds.
