Father Missing After Falling Overboard In Northport Bay

NORTHPORT BAY, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A man is missing after falling overboard in the waters of Northport Bay, Long Island, on Saturday.

The man, who is in his 50s, was fishing with his teenage son around 9:30 a.m. when he fell into the water.

According to authorities, he fell while reaching for a fishing pole and never resurfaced.

The Coast Guard suspended their search around 8 p.m. Crews from multiple agencies were involved in the search.
