61-Year-Old Man Shot During Home Invasion On Long Island

NORTH VALLEY STREAM, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) – A 61-year-old man was shot during a home invasion on Long Island early Wednesday morning.
Police said multiple people armed with handguns broke into a house on S Street in North Valley Stream around 2 a.m.
They confronted three men, ages 61, 31, and 25, and a struggle ensued.
The 61-year-old was shot. He was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
The suspects made off with jewelry.
