NORTH LINDENHURST, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Police in Suffolk County are investigating a fatal hit-and-run accident.

It occurred early Friday morning on Route 109 between Wellwood Avenue and the Southern State Parkway in North Lindenhurst, CBS2 reported.
