Crews battle warehouse fire in North Brunswick, New Jersey

NORTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. -- Firefighters continued battling a fire at a mattress warehouse in North Brunswick into the night Wednesday.

Multiple fire agencies responded to the scene on Nassau Street near Georges Road shortly after the fire started around 4 p.m.

Police issued a warning to pedestrians and drivers to avoid the area as thick black smoke filled the neighborhood.

A previous water main break in the area caused problems for firefighters, as they had to bring extra water to the scene.

There are no reports of injuries.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
