Power Problem Disrupts Amtrak Service Along Northeast Corridor
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A power outage east of Penn Station is causing significant delays on Amtrak's Northeast Corridor.
Amtrak is running a limited diesel operation between Penn Station and New Rochelle.
Customers can expect delays of up to 2 hours.
We are running a limited diesel operation between NYP/NRO as a result of the power outage. 1-2 hour delays can be expected.

"Amtrak engineering forces are working as quickly and safely as possible to restore power," Amtrak said.
Service New York, NY (NYP) to New Rochelle, NY (NRO) is disrupted due to a power system problem. Repairs Underway.

Earlier, a disabled Amtrak train in one of the Hudson River tunnels delayed NJ TRANSIT trains into and out of Penn Station during the Wednesday morning commute.
