Disabled Train Causes Delays On NJ TRANSIT During Morning Commute

NEWARK, N.J. (CBSNewYorkAP) -- NJ TRANSIT riders faced delays during the morning rush hour after a train became disabled in the Hudson River tunnels.

The disabled train was cleared from the tunnel around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, but riders faced delays of up to an hour into and out of New York Penn Station for most of the morning.

Service was reported running on or close to schedule around 11 a.m.

PATH was cross-honoring tickets at Newark Penn Station and Hoboken Terminal.
