NJ TRANSIT Bus Strikes And Kills Woman In Orange

ORANGE, N.J. (CBSNewYork) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by an NJ TRANSIT bus Thursday morning in Essex County.

Chopper 2 was over the scene in Orange.

Police say the woman was running alongside the bus on Main Street when she was struck.

NJ TRANSIT said it was a Number-21 bus that travels from Newark to West Orange however, it's unclear what caused the driver to hit the woman.
