Police: Woman Hit By NJ Transit Bus, Likely To Lose Both Legs
NEWARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork)-- Newark police are investigating an accident after a woman in her 60s was struck by an New Jersey Transit bus.
Officials said the woman was crossing the street near Mount Prospect Avenue and Heller Parkway when the bus was making a turn and struck her.
The woman is in critical condition and CBS2 was told she will likely lose both her legs.
