EAST ORANGE, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- New Jersey State Police are on the hunt for a motorist who they said robbed a toll collector at gunpoint on the Garden State Parkway.

The robbery took place around 5:40 p.m. on Tuesday in East Orange.

State Police spokesman Sgt. Gregory Williams told NJ.com that a man wearing a ski mask drove up to the toll plaza in a white car in the northbound lanes and ordered the toll collector to place cash in a pillow case.

It remains unclear how much cash the robber got away with.
