NFL Team Asks Prospect At Combine: 'Do You Find Your Mother Attractive?'
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Apparently NFL teams want to know if potential prospects have some type of Oedipus complex.
Dane Brugler, a senior NFL Draft analyst for CBS Sports, shared an odd tidbit he heard Thursday during the NFL Combine.
"Strangest interview question I've heard a NFL team ask a prospect so far: Do you find your mother attractive?" Brugler tweeted.

As head-scratching a question that might be, it seems like it's been asked before.
Retired defensive end Austen Lane, who played for three teams over five seasons, revealed on Twitter that he was asked that same question.
"When a scout at the combine asked me if I thought my mother was attractive," Lane posted, showing a GIF of Dave Chappelle.

Lane also shared other hysterical questions he was asked, including if he smoked weed because he has dreads; would he use a gun or knife to murder someone; or if he wears boxers or briefs.

This is not even close to the most egregious question a team asked a prospect.
In 2010, it was reported then Miami Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland asked Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant if his mom was a prostitute. Ireland later apologized.
