Police Search For Assailant In Shooting At Newark After-Hours Club
NEWARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Police were searching Monday for the person who shot and killed a 45-year-old man in Newark this past weekend.
Gary Wyckoff was shot multiple times just before 5:30 a.m. Saturday at 49 Sherman Ave. in Newark, police said. The address is believed to belong to an after-hours club, police said.
Wyckoff was taken to University Hospital in Newark, where he was pronounced dead at 6:50 a.m. Saturday, police said.
As of Monday night, there had been no arrests and the investigation continued.
