Newark Airport AirTrain To Close For Repairs Through July 15

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) -- The train line connecting Amtrak and New Jersey Transit to Newark Liberty International Airport will be suspended for 21/2 months for repairs.

AirTrain will be closed starting Thursday.

Shuttle buses are to run to the airport from Newark Penn Station and also between terminals and airport parking lots.

But Port Authority of New York and New Jersey officials say travelers should allow extra time to reach their flights.

The line is to reopen July 15.
