New York Weather: CBS2 5/29 Wednesday Forecast

This afternoon will start off pretty quiet, but showers and storms will move through late in the day from west to east. And once again, there is an elevated risk for severe storms, so don't be surprised if you encounter powerful winds or even some hail.

Showers and storms will push through mainly early this evening with perhaps a stray shower the remainder of the night. Expect temps to fall into the low 60s once again.

Tomorrow will feature a little more sunshine with another round of showers and isolated storms into the afternoon and evening. Highs will be on the warm side in the upper 70s to near 80°.

As for Friday, expect mostly sunny skies with highs in the upper 70s.
