New York Weather: 12/16 Monday Forecast

by Justin Lewis, CBS2 Meteorologist

Expect a mainly dry afternoon with perhaps a little light snow off to our south and west. It's really tonight when we'll see snow mixing with ice and eventually plain rain; snow/icing will continue just off to our north and west.

Around here we can expect a continued rain through the day on Tuesday before things taper off through the afternoon. When all is said and done 1-4" of snow and up to 1/4" of ice is expected north and west of the city.

Wednesday should be fine for the most part, but we're leaving in a chance of snow showers for now. Temperatures will be stuck in the 30s that day, but expect even colder air to follow.
