New York State Attorney General Letitia James Reportedly Planning To Announce Run For Governor

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- New York State Attorney General Letitia James is reportedly getting ready to announce a run for governor.

The Associated Press reports the announcement is expected later this week.

A spokesperson tells CBS2 that James has made a decision regarding the governor's race, and she will be announcing it in the coming days.

James would become the biggest Democratic challenger so far to Gov. Kathy Hochul, who has announced she is seeking re-election.
