Revis Named AFC Defensive Player Of The Week

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Darrelle Revis is still as good as it gets.

The veteran cornerback was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week on Wednesday following his two fumble recoveries, interception and four tackles during the Jets' 20-7 win over the Colts in Indianapolis on Monday night.

"It was really fun. It was great. It's Monday Night Football. It doesn't get better than this," Revis told reporters after the game. "We knew we were going against a great offense and a great team in the Indianapolis Colts."

The Jets have forced an eye-popping 10 turnovers to start the season, with Revis recording three fumble recoveries and an interception.

Off to their 11th 2-0 start in franchise history, the Jets lead the NFL with a plus-8 turnover differential.

The Jets take on the Philadelphia Eagles at MetLife Stadium on Sunday.
