11/29 Sunday Evening Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre

It was a much cooler day across the tri-state, with temps only in the 40s for most. Skies will be clear for the most part tonight, perhaps a few clouds from time to time, but it will be cold. Temps drop to the 20s and 30s with chills in the mid-teens to mid-20s. Bundle up heading back to work and school in the morning.

We'll see more clouds returning tomorrow, ahead of our next storm system. It'll be chilly and breezy, feeling like winter with a high of only 46 in NYC. Spots north and west of town might not even make it out of the 30s! The return to reality isn't so bad considering, our lovely temps over the holiday weekend. There will be a few showers possible late Monday night, so keep the umbrella handy.

You'll want to have the umbrella at all times Tuesday into Wednesday. Showers get more coverage during the day Tuesday, and there could be a period of heavy rain Tuesday night into early Wednesday. The good news is that temps will be mild, in the 50s, both days.

Check back soon for the latest and stay warm!
