New York Association of Black Journalists Holds Awards Ceremony In NYC

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – There was a special recognition Thursday in Harlem for black journalists who are leading the way in their profession.

CBS2's Maurice DuBois had the honor of co-hosting the awards ceremony for the New York Association of Black Journalists, alongside CBS News correspondent Jericka Duncan.

The gala was held at Harlem's historic Alhambra Ballroom.

Former CBS2 reporter Janelle Burrell was nominated for both feature reporting and investigative journalism.
