Interview: Starting The New Year With A Juice Cleanse

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- With the new year here, lots of us are setting resolutions, and one of the top resolutions is to lose weight and get healthy.

One of the ways people are looking to accomplish this is by starting the year off with a juice cleanse.

The question is how to cleanse to make the results last.

Cindy Kasindorf, chief juicing officer from Joni Juice, stopped by the CBS2 studios to offer some tips.

"A cleanse is a great way to jump-start a healthy lifestyle," she told CBS2's Andrea Grymes and Diane Macedo. "What it does is it floods your body with nutrients, vitamins, minerals, and it feeds your body what it really craves, essentially nutrients. So it's in a powerful form. It feeds your body, fuels your body to be at its most optimal level."
