New Staten Island Ferry Expected To Arrive In New York City This Month

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- We're getting a look at the new Staten Island Ferry.

It has set sail from Florida and is expected in New York City before the end of the year.

It will be ready for passengers sometime in 2022.

The ship is named "Sandy Ground" in honor of one of the first African-American settlements on the south shore of Staten Island in 1828.
