New Jersey Woman Charged In Wrong-Way Crash

PARAMUS, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A woman has been charged after police said she drove the wrong way on a northern New Jersey highway and collided head-on with two other vehicles.

Paramus police told The Record that 22-year-old Garfield resident Natalie Garcia was charged with driving under the influence and reckless driving following Tuesday night's crash.

Police said shortly before midnight Garcia had left a bar and started driving westbound in the eastbound lanes of Route 4.

She struck one car a short time later, then collided with a second vehicle, according to officials.

The driver of the second vehicle was treated at a hospital for non life-threatening injuries.

Garcia was expected to face more charges stemming from the crash.
