Learn How To Be Organ Donor Through New Jersey Sharing Network

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Right now, 5,000 people in New Jersey are waiting on a miracle of an organ donation.

Last year that miracle didn't come soon enough for 90 families who lost a loved one in desperate need of a life-saving transplant.

People can held give the gift of life by signing up to be an organ donor.

Elisse Glennon, vice president of the New Jersey Sharing Network, and Pam Drozd, whose husband was an organ donor, explained to CBS2 how people can sign up.
