New Jersey Coalition of Auto Retailers To Hold Fundraiser For Valerie Fund

EDISON, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- An event in New Jersey Sunday is hoping to raise money for a group that helps kids with brain cancer and rare blood disorders.

CBS 2's Andrea Grymes sat down with James Appleton, president of the New Jersey Coalition of Auto Retailers and Valerie Fund Executive Director Barry Kirschner to discuss the "Dancing with the Cars" fundraising event to benefit the Valerie Fund.

New Jersey auto retailers have already raised more than $400,000 for the Valerie Fund, but the group looks to raise even more with its event on Sunday.

Tickets are still available for Dancing with the Cars, which will be held from 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the New Jersey Convention Center in Edison.
