National Champion O'Rourke Irish Dancers Show Off Their Moves

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- St. Patrick's Day is just two days away, and you can't celebrate the holiday without some dancing.

The O'Rourke Irish Dancers stopped by the CBS2 studios to showcase their heritage.

The group of young dancers are regional and national champions and will compete for the world title.

"My favorite part is being able to be with my friends and all the support that we get," one dancer, Kate, told CBS2's Diane Macedo.

Another dancer told the story of how she got started.

"When I was 4, I jumped into a parade in Florida, and I started copying the dancer in front of me," Grace said. "And I came back here, and I started loving Irish dancing. I've done it ever since."
