Car Windows Shot Out With Suspected BB Gun In Multiple Nassau County Towns

LEVITTOWN, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Nassau County police on Monday were trying to determine who shot out car windows with a suspected BB gun in multiple towns.

Police said several parked cars in Levittown, Wantagh, East Meadow, and North Merrick were vandalized between Sunday and Monday.

Windows in the vehicles were shot out with what is believed to be a BB gun, police said.

Police released a surveillance video of a white sport-utility vehicle – possibly a Chevrolet – at the scene in one of the incidents.

The investigation continued late Monday.

Anyone who believes they are a victim or with information in the incidents is asked to contact their local police precinct.
