Muhammad Wilkerson On WFAN: 'Nobody Is Satisfied'

NEW YORK (WFAN) -- It's the same old story.

The New York Jets (1-8) are still having trouble making the big stop. Their inability to create turnovers has been well-documented, and miscommunication has burned them way too many times.

And those are just the issues on the defensive side of the ball.

"Of course, nobody is satisfied with the record that we have. We just have to keep coming each and every day and working," Jets defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson told WFAN's Joe Benigno and Evan Roberts on Tuesday. "Hopefully, one of these weekends, one of these Sundays, we'll get a win."

The Jets will be looking to avoid a franchise-record ninth straight loss when the Pittsburgh Steelers come to town Sunday. With the Jets in free-fall and Steelers fans always willing to travel, it could feel more like a road game.

"The game is not won in the stands," Wilkerson said. "If there's more Steelers fans than Jets fans, hey, so be it. Hopefully it's more green. But we can't control that."

Listen below for Wilkerson's thoughts on Gang Green's loss in Kansas City, the situation at cornerback, and Chiefs tight end Anthony Fasano making a lucky touchdown catch from his backside ("Why us?"):
