MTA Bus Struck By SUV In Brooklyn, Passengers Treated For Minor Injuries

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – An MTA bus was struck by an SUV last night in Brooklyn.

Authorities said the BM1 bus was driving through a green light around 11:30 p.m. at the intersection of Ocean Avenue and Avenue J in Midwood when it was hit.

Five passengers were on board at the time.

They were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, along with the bus driver.

"Our thoughts are with our bus operator and our customers, and we wish them a speedy recovery," the MTA said in a statement.
